I’ve been too busy to blog for the last month and will hopefully make up for that soon. I just finished two courses (Copy Editing and Visual Arts) and they were pretty much my life throughout June. Here’s a bit of a photo dump of some things going on outside of school.
When I arrived in Bruges in October 2013, I was half asleep and not quite sure what language they even spoke there (I had heard French at my 5am stopover in Brussels.) This was on my second Euro Trip: my first had been inspired by my long term ‘dream destinations’ list: London and Paris. This next trip, a year later, was more based on things I had learnt since. I had actually never heard of Bruges until I talked to other travellers. But everyone loved the beautiful Bruges.
I went out of my way not to pick something nature-y for the featured image this week, but the natural world still dominates this post. With school and a family trip to Niagara Falls, it’s been a pretty busy week (evident in the fact that I haven’t posted anything since last weeks photo post.)
Most of this week was a mad scramble to pack, since I moved in with my aunt to be closer to school. With spring in full bloom and everything feeling a fair bit like summer, everything’s looking very bright.
Spring, winter, spring again…..
It was a very mixed week for me, with some very good things (great weather, a camping trip, a new bike for me) and some bad (my dog got in an accident and had to undergo emergency surgery in her eye).
The best thing about this past week: it was hot enough for me to wear shorts. I also have seen flowers blooming, but I would have to trespass to take pictures of them. But it’s exciting none the less.
